Diary of a...
A night of reading belle du jours archival blogs in the Boys bed with cups of tea...nice, guilty feeling at the hotel lifestyle when we come here....3 meals a day, no tidying up to do, seperate living space...his parents house gladly lacks the turn down service though.
However two and a half days of not moving so much isn't so good either, feeling slightly like a beached whale, need to make sure not to embrace it too much..and I'm pretty sure following the boy around a golf course doesn't equate to much in terms of exercise....gym on Monday I think

Ice cream on the fylde
Me and the Boy are in his parents house in Poulton le Fylde...today was a lovely day...we woke up uniformly late around noon and traipsed into 'town' to spend £8 on ice creams and sit in the churchyard...definitely worth it...
Au revoir...Paris in 40 days!

Sun and the Arrival of a Cath Kidston Catalogue...
I woke up today at 2 o'clock >.<
Late nights of scrabble and wine are not good ways to induce a productive day.
However, I had a lovely day wrapped up on the balcony, chilly but nice and sunny reading a book.
With the weather in change, im starting to really want to get out all my summer dresses out now :) reading magazines and trawling the internet is making me want to buy too much also! I have lots of pretty floral dresses, but I definitely need lots of ankle socks and ballet pumps and sandals to go with them this summer, and some lovely pastelly and grey cardigans.

Paris...
Yesterday the boy booked our trip to Paris...
I am beyond excited, 3 days and 2 nights in the city. I want to try and fit as much in as possible.
Sadly I won't get to go to Versailles.
Apparently 22 Euros each for a one way trip on the train does not equate to 'a low budget trip to Paris'.

Have been trawling the internet all morning in bed looking at trip planners, other peoples blogs and lots of maps...plenty of walking will be done :)

Wish I had plenty more money as Paris is so expensive it looks like we'll be living on bread and cheese, and McDonalds for the boy! Though I have to have a Laduree macaroon, just one...
